Why did my run fail, and do I get my credits back?

Updated 27 October 2026

Yes. When a run fails for any reason, its credits go back to your balance automatically and straight away, and your History page shows it as “Failed · refunded”. The message on the run says what went wrong.

What each message means

  • “The AI's safety filter blocked this request.” The AI provider's filter refused the photo or description. Try a different photo, or describe what you want in other words.
  • “We couldn't find a clear face in your photo.” Use a sharper, front-facing photo with good light on your face.
  • “This took longer than expected, so we stopped it.” Photo runs are stopped after 15 minutes and video runs after 45. This is rare; please try again.
  • “We couldn't start this job”, “The AI didn't return a result” or “The AI couldn't finish this job.” Something went wrong on the AI side. Try again, and if it keeps happening, write to us.

How the refund works

There's nothing to ask for. The credits taken when the run started are returned the moment it's marked as failed, and you can see your balance in the top bar. Files you uploaded for the run are deleted, as they are after every run.

If you can't start a run

  • You can have up to 3 runs waiting or running at once. Wait for one to finish, then start the next.
  • If your balance is lower than the cost shown next to the button, buy a credit pack first.
  • Photos must be JPG, PNG or WebP, and files can be up to 50 MB.

If the result isn't what you hoped

A run that finished has used real AI processing, so its credits aren't returned. Try different photos, another outfit or background, or a clearer description. If a result is clearly broken, such as a blank or corrupted file, write to blazetech.devtools@gmail.com and we'll review it.
