Tips for a professional signature

  • Keep it to three or four short lines: name, job and company, then how to reach you.
  • Add the country code to your phone number, such as +91, so it works as a tap-to-call link everywhere.
  • Use one colour that matches your company, and no quotes, banners or large images.
  • Use the same name and photo as on LinkedIn, so people connect your emails with your profile.
  • Send yourself a test email and check it on your phone before using it with clients.

Questions

Is it free? Is anything saved?
It's free and needs no account. Everything you type stays in your browser: nothing is sent to us or saved.
Why does the photo need a link?
Email signatures show photos from the internet, so the photo must already be online, for example on your company website. The generator doesn't upload or host photos. You can leave it out.
Does it work with Gmail and Outlook?
Yes. The signature is a simple table with built-in styles, the kind Gmail and Outlook keep when you paste it into their signature settings.
Can I use it in the Gmail or Outlook phone app?
Phone apps usually take plain-text signatures only. Set the signature up on a computer, and it's used for mail you send from the computer and the web.
How should I write my phone number?
With the country code, such as +91 98765 43210, so people abroad can tap it to call you.
