Free SSC, IBPS, UPSC and NEET photo and signature resizer
Head Shot PROs resizes your photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration to the exact pixel size and KB range your exam form asks for. It's free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser, so your files never leave your phone or computer.
SSC's 2026 forms take your photo live with your webcam or phone camera while you fill in the form, so there is no photo file to upload. Photographing an existing photo gets the form rejected. Only the signature is uploaded.
JPEG, 10–20 KB, about 6.0 cm wide × 2.0 cm high. Blurred or tiny signatures are rejected.
Output: 472 × 157 pixels (6.0 × 2.0 cm at 200 DPI), 10–20 KB, JPEG. Source: SSC CHSL 2026 notice, sections 9.4 and 9.6 . Checked 24 October 2026.
Stays on your device: resized in your browser, never uploaded.

Tips so your form isn't rejected
Photo
A recent, real photo: face straight to the camera, light or white background, no cap or dark glasses, no shadows. Don't use filters or AI-edited photos.
Signature
Sign in black ink on plain white paper, in your usual handwriting (IBPS rejects capital letters). Photograph it flat in daylight, then crop close before resizing.
Live photo (SSC, IBPS, UPSC)
Sit facing a window or a light, in front of a plain wall. Remove your cap and spectacles, look straight at the camera, and never hold up a printed photo.
Questions
- Is this resizer free?
- Yes. It's free, needs no account, and runs in your browser: your photo and signature are never uploaded to us.
- Do I need to resize my photo for SSC CGL or CHSL in 2026?
- No. SSC's 2026 forms take your photo live with your webcam or phone camera while you fill in the form, so there's no photo file to upload. You only upload your signature: a JPEG of 10–20 KB, about 6.0 × 2.0 cm.
- My photo is under the minimum KB. What does the resizer do?
- It first uses the highest JPEG quality. If a small, clean image is still under the minimum, it adds empty padding inside the file to reach the minimum size. The picture itself doesn't change.
- Which KB does the resizer count, 1000 or 1024 bytes?
- Both. Files are kept at or under the maximum counted in 1000-byte KB, and at or above the minimum counted in 1024-byte KB, so they pass either kind of check.
- Can I use an AI-edited photo for an exam form?
- No. Exam bodies compare your photo with you on the exam day and, in many exams, with a live photo taken in the form. Use a real, recent, unedited photo of yourself.
- My exam isn't listed. Can I still use it?
- Yes. Choose “Other exam” and type the pixel size and KB range from your notice.
